the silence to come

I will not be blogging after this weekend as Joy just told me that I am going to go back home... She is going to be away from monday till I don't know when... So it will be quite from me...

weird day

I went for my spa today instead of tomorrow- think Joy is busy and unable to take me there... But I am not complaining as the nice lady was happy to see me... I got my walk before going... Of course I smell nice after the bath too...

I am very sociable and rather inquisitive... Any little noise and I would explore.. isn't that what I am suppose to do? Oh and little girl gave me a big pat this morning... Have I told you about little girl? She comes past my place every morning on her way to school... She calls me "dog dog" and gives me a big wave... But today she gave me a pat! I was so happy and excited... She used to be really friendly but some bad bad dogs barked at her and she got scared of dogs... So see I am good for everybody and everybody warms up to me...

I had a weird experience today- some weird big dog decided to be friendly and started to smell my butt! She is a girl dog and is much taller than me... I was so shocked that I just stood still while she did that! Think my girl friend is better as we touch noses and wag our tails... But at least the big dog did not bark at me!

Right... I am off to bed now... It is hot and nobody has the air- con on yet...

This hot weather has made everybody in the house extra nice to me... They all worry that I would over heat... So I get ice cold water to drink and the air con comfort for most of the day... In fact Joy leaves a crack in the door of her bedroom open so that I can push it open when I want to cool down at night.... Told you she was a nice pet... But I must say her room is so messy that I can't really walk around at the moment... I wonder how she does it...

So you see... a little patience goes a long way in getting things done my way! Ha Ha Ha...

stupid weather

Okay I did not get my walk this morning... It was pouring with rain... I am not going to go out there in the rain to get wet and stinky... But the downside to that is that I have to hold everything in... Well not everything but you get the idea...

Then it was stinkly hot this afternoon... I shall have to thank whoever invented the thing called ice cubes... They are a life saver in this weather... keeps me cool... Was told that because of my size and level of physical activity, I have to watch my liquid intake and keep it up... Don't want to suffer from heat stroke! No thanks!

Anyway, I enjoy the small comforts of the air conditioning now a days... Am wondering how I am able to engineer it such that I will sleep in Joy's room in the air con comfort... Any suggestions???

the runs

I feel so alive and free...

I ran and ran and ran today... It felt good to be free... free from ticks... free to exercise... free to see my girlfriend (I didn't recognize her as she has had a fur cut!!!! She doesn't look as fluffy now

But on the other hand, I had the other sort of runs this evening... Not the best feeling I must admit... Hence I did not eat my dinner... Had a wee bit of orange though.. It was kind of sweet...

I shall head off to bed now... it is Sunday tomorrow and that means a really early start for me- I need to be ready for my walk by 0610...

my terrible day

Fridays have always been such a pamper me time at my spa session...

But today was terrible!!!!

I had ticks! To top it off... the queen tick in her bright orange shell was stuck to the fur above my eye!!! It was bad!!!! Poor Joy has been doing all she possibly could for me (tick shampoo, tick collar, no grass and tick injections)...

So when I came home, Joy had to sanitize the whole house with tick spray... That would have been ok if I was not confined to the outdoor table... while she sprayed the whole house and we sere stuck outdoors for almost an hour... I was going nutty pacing around...

Don't know if I should go out now... I don't know....

me being sneaky

It is another hot day in the life of me...But I get the great privilege of pushing the door open to keep cool in the air con room...

I have realized that there are a lot of yummy food out there... Well I have tried some weird cracker (keropok) today and mangosteen... But in saying that, I have become picky as to what I eat too... You see, Joy gave me some orange today... I took a sniff at it and started to shake my head in a no- no-no fashion... The reason is the orange smelt sour and I will not have anything less than sweet... So into the rubbish bin that orange can go! How is that for me???

Oh it is my spa day tomorrow... I wonder what special pampering I am going to get... Just realized that the fur on my head is going curly...
